Rural complex dating back to the XIX century, originally consisting of several buildings for the manor and farmer houses and for the shelter of herder animals.
The settlement is located in the south-east at the gates of the city of Lecce and in a strategic position, as it is close to the famous Via Francigena, which is still today a destination for pilgrims and international tourists.
The entire complex is currently in a state of abandonment, although there is a restoration project with a tourist accommodation purpose in progress.
The property is made up of the existing buildings that have a covered area of approximately 575.00 square metres, for an existing volume of 2,100.00 cube metres circa, and a surrounding land of 12 hectares, including a quarry from which the local stone used for the construction of the buildings was extracted.
The local traditional star vaults and internal courtyards are unique architectural elements that distinguish an era and each stone hand-worked by old workers tells the life of the past.
These buildings are monuments to time that contain the history and traditions of a territory.
